Kintsugi, or golden repair, is the Japanese art of fixing broken pottery. Rather than try to hide broken seams, kintsugi celebrates the imperfections by highlighting the cracks with powdered gold, silver or platinum. The new creation becomes even more beautiful than the original. We love kintsugi as a metaphor for embracing life’s struggles and failures. We become even stronger and better than before.
